Review
Chronager is a piece of software that you may find useful in case you want to prevent your child from using the computer anytime he wants. What I particularly like about this application is that you can choose to block only one kind of activity, or several of them. Thus, you are allowed to set Computer Schedule, Internet Schedule, Programs Schedule, CD/DVD Schedule, and Disks Schedule, all of them shown in the timetable.
There are other options that I find rather helpful, for example the possibility to restrict certain functions either for only one user, or for a group of users. Moreover, this can be done for some certain time, or as a permanent restriction.
You can even set up a forbidden programs list. In this way, you are no longer concerned about the fact that your children spend too much time in front of the computer, and if they do, at least they don't have access to websites you wouldn't recommend to them. At the same time, you can later get a report about Internet activity, programs that has been accessed and at what time. Your settings can be password-protected and stored in a safely encrypted file.
What is more, Chronager can be used not only against children unwanted use of computers, but also to guard public-use computers.
It has an affordable price.
You have free technical support.
